June 4th 2025: HXR members join Red Line Gaza protest encircling Parliament

Health for XR members participated in today’s protest against our government’s ongoing supply of arms to Israel and complicity in the ongoing mass starvation and genocide of Palestinian people.

Thousands stood in solidarity with the people of Gaza and linked hands in a continuous chain around Parliament, representing a red line which should not have been crossed. The red line ran across the front of Parliament, along Westminster bridge, along the embankment adjacent to the Covid memorial wall, and back across Lambeth bridge to complete the circle.

There was a long poster laid out on the ground with the names and ages of all the innocent Palestinian children slaughtered during the conflict.

A few MPs, including John Mcdonnell and Jeremy Corbyn, also joined the protesters while othe MPs looked on whilst lunching on the riverside.
