Doctors glue themselves to government building

On Wednesday 25th September 2019, 4 doctors were arrested, as part of a 30+ strong cohort of doctors protesting against our government’s negligent inaction on the climate emergency.

The group of doctors are calling for urgent action to the impending public health crisis arising from climate and ecological breakdown.

Doctors for Extinction Rebellion (XR), which formed earlier this year, has grown rapidly, despite the professional risks that doctors face from being arrested.

The protest comes ahead of the Planetary Health Hub event hosted by Doctors for XR during the planned International Rebellion on October 7.
